Our monthly meetings will be on the 1st Sunday of each month at 3:00 at 5104 Double Bridges Rd in Meherrin. These are the following dates:
July 7 August 7 Oct 6 November 3
September 1 will be at Jason’s house at 1426 Estes Rd in Chase City
December 1 We are planning on having a short meeting and then enjoy a Christmas meal. Location to be determine.
Field Day:
It is on June 22 to the 23rd beginning at 2:00 at Jason’s place. The address is 1426 Estes Rd in Chase City.
We are planning on doing more than just making contacts. We would like it as a family day with other activities such as an information table, games to play (corn hole, dart board, possibly volleyball), have radios that people who come can get on the air, enjoy food and have a nice time. You can even camp out overnight (bring you own tent and sleeping bags) We have Michelle taking pictures of the activities.
Would love to see all of you there, even if it is for a short time. Invite your friends to come out and watch you and others in action. We have Virginia representative Tommy Wright stopping by and Congressman Bob Good will try to stop by.
If you have a Boefang or a Yaesu radio, bring it and we can program it.
