Club builds transmitter kits!
At the May meeting of the Charlotte County Amateur Radio Club we built transmitters! It was a fun day at the farm as Dan, one of our senior members, led everyone in sorting, assembling, and soldering all of the components of the transmitter kits. As with almost all our meetings, everyone gets to learn and practice basic skills – and often, as with this one, we get to takeaway whatever it is we have done. At the next meeting, we will be testing and using the transmitters, and then building a long wire antenna!
